WHAT'S IN A NAME: Alberta Likens of Hartford, a sophomore in elementary education, posed for this September 1955 photo calling attention to a plaque in front of Jones Hall that announced that Youngstown College would henceforth be known as The Youngstown University. The name changed to Youngstown State University in 1967.
