LaTessas observe anniversary on Alaskan cruise

XYOUNGSTOWN -- An Alaskan cruise in August was arranged for Mr. and Mrs. Fred LaTessa, 1512 Brownlee Ave., in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple also are being feted during a dinner today at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.
Mr. LaTessa and the former Jane Metzinger were married Sept. 10, 1955, at St. Dominic Church. They are members of St. Luke Church in Boardman.
Their family includes two children and their spouses, Don and Lisa LaTessa and Mary and Rob Marshall, all of Youngstown, and six grandchildren.
Mr. LaTessa served as a first sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was employed 33 years at the Electric Equipment Co. before retiring.
