XLOWELLVILLE -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 10 as Jennifer Palumbo, a daughter of Thomas and Pamela Palumbo, all of Lowellville, and Craig Tershel of Youngstown, a son of James and Gloria Tershel of Burgettstown, were married at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church by the Rev. Gerald Delucia.
A reception was held afterward at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. The couple live in Youngstown after a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico and Las Vegas.
Embroidery, sequins and pearls enhanced the bride's strapless organza gown. It featured an A-line skirt and cathedral train.
Cranberry gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Karen Perry, and the bridesmaids, Kara Tershel, Tracy Dovich, Jill Palumbo, Whitney Palumbo, Jennifer Garvin, Elizabeth LaBash, Renee Reagan, Haylie FeFolt and Susan Wardle. Flower girl was Lauren Briggs.
Steven Hirt was best man, and groomsmen were Michael Blue, Ronald Coxson, Stephen Murphy, Michael Palumbo, Richard Palumbo, Roy Palumbo, Anthony Perry, Joseph Smith and Eric Zaney. Ring bearer was Anthony Perry.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University and is a licensed therapist with Churchill Counseling Services, Youngstown. The groom also graduated from YSU and is a firefighter with Youngstown City Fire Department and a part-time paramedic with Clemente Ambulance in Struthers.
