XCORTLAND -- The marriage of Jacy Brown, 4330 Groveland Road, University Heights, and Dan Nichols, 7256 W. Baldwin Reserve Drive, Middleburg Heights, was solemnized by the Rev. Carl Kish during a 3 p.m. ceremony Aug. 6 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
After a reception at Ciminero's Banquet Centre in Niles, the couple left for Cancun, Mexico.
The bride is a daughter of Bill and Betty Brown, 241 Cricklewood Drive, and the groom's parents are Jack and Sue Nichols of the Middleburg Heights address. The couple live in University Heights.
Rum-pink and metallic beaded embroidery enhanced the bodice and train of the bride's strapless ivory gown.
Jill Cameron of Cortland was the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids were Maggie Nichols of Cincinnati, the groom's sister-in-law; Malinda Koncar of West Middlesex, Pa., the bride's cousin; Alyse Consiglio of Cortland; and Katie Taddeo of Columbus.
Justin French of North Olmsted was best man, and groomsmen were Brian Nichols of Cincinnati and Scott Nichols of Middleburg Heights, brothers of the groom, and Troy Andrulonis and Seth Grady, both of Columbus. Ring bearers were twin brothers, Evan Olbrych, the bride's godson, and Austin Olbrych, both of Cortland.
The bride and groom graduated from Ohio University in Athens with bachelor's degrees, hers in education and communication and his in business administration. She is a teacher at Richmond Heights High School, and he is a credit analyst with MBNA America at Beachwood.
