XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Aug. 6 wedding of Desire & eacute; Marie Zupo and Doane Franklin Widenhouse, both of 2063 E. Fourth St., Cleveland, took place at 4 p.m. in the Rose Garden at Mill Creek Park.
The Rev. Stephen Pressey presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Nancy Marie Zupo of Youngstown and the late Ralph Zupo and the son of Joe W. and Judy Widenhouse, 1296 Foxtail Drive, Longs, S.C. After a reception at St. Rocco Episcopal Church, the couple left on a wedding trip to Kelleys Island State Park. They live in Cleveland.
The bride wore a champagne-colored, two-piece, corset-style strapless gown.
Black gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Kimberly Marie Zupo of Las Vegas, and the bridesmaids, her sister Melissa Marie Zupo of Las Vegas; Cheryl Turek of Las Vegas; Rebecca Kosoran of Youngstown; and Samantha Stankovich of Columbus.
William Mathers of Pulaski, Pa., was the best man, and groomsmen were the bride's brother, Ralph Anthony Zupo of Las Vegas; Joe Corsell of Youngstown; Scott Stankovich of Columbus; and Brian Cronin of Las Vegas.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in telecommunications. She is a bartender with Pickwich and Frolic/Flannery's Pub in Cleveland.
The groom, a senior operations manager with House of Blue Entertainment Inc., Cleveland, graduated from Mitchell Community College in Statesville, N.C., with a degree in small-business management.
