Rose leads Tigers to fourth triumph

STRUTHERS -- Tara Rose scored 17 points as the Howland High volleyball team defeated Struthers in a Metro Athletic Conference match Thursday.
Taylor Summerfield had 10 kills and Katlyn Flick had four digs for the Tigers (4-0, 2-0 MAC) as they won 25-22, 25-14, 25-21.
For Struthers (2-3, 0-2) ,Jeanette McLaughlin had 10 kills, Jennifer McLaughlin had seven blocks and Ashley Stein had eight digs.

Salem 25-25-25, Niles 13-6-8
SALEM -- Sarah Brobeck had an ace and 12 kills for the Quakers (3-3, 2-0 MAC). Also for Salem, Brittany Gregory had six aces, six kills and two blocks while Sarah Rabelli had four aces, three kills and one tip.
Laura Ruberto had 10 digs for the Red Dragons (2-2, 0-2).

CANFIELD -- Kelsey Owen had 12 points, four aces, 10 kills and 12 digs to lead Canfield (1-3, 1-1 MAC).
Jackie Nentwick added 13 points, three aces, 14 kills and four digs for the Cardinals, and Kate Heagerty had 11 points, two aces, 33 assists and seven digs.
For Poland (1-2, 1-1), Ashley Conger had 17 points, two aces, 19 kills, 16 assists and six digs. Doni Muransky added 14 points, 13 kills, five blocks and nine digs, and Lauren Kocher had 10 kills and four digs.
Mooney 25-25-25,Campbell 8-9-12
CAMPBELL -- Dayna Daltorio had 13 points with eight aces, Chelsea Mack had 23 assists and eight points, and Jaccci Wyman had nine kills and nine points to spark Mooney (4-0). Michelle Pelini had 12 points with three aces and six kills.
Campbell (0-5) was led by Heather Hrlec with three blocks and Dominique Clark with four points.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Jasmine Stringer collected 27 points, 14 kills and 13 assists while Morgan Dowell had 38 points and 29 kills to pace Harding (3-2). Bre Carpenter contributed 34 digs, Robin Ivory added two aces, two points, six assists. eight digs and one kill and Crystyn Flanagan four assists for the Raiders.

AUSTINTOWN -- Caitlin O'Patchen came up with 17 kills, 37 assists, 16 blocks and 31 points to spark Fitch (4-0, 2-0) in a Federal League match.
Meghan McDermott added 18 points, seven kills and five blocks, while Rachel Ducay had seven kills, 15 blocks 10 points, and Karla Farina had five kills, three blocks and eight points.

For the Vikings (3-1, 2-1), Maddie D'Orio scored 10 points and had 10 kills and nine blocks.

GIRARD -- Hillary Patterson scored 18 points, with six aces to pace the Indians (4-1, 3-0 TAC). Chelsea Morrison had 10 kills. Courtney had nine kills and a block. and Aysha Nickels had 28 assists and six digs. Ghentel Greathouse led the Golden Flashes with six points and 24 assists. Haley York had six kills and six blocks.

LIBERTY -- Chelsea O'Donnell scored 25 points and had 17 kills to spark the Leopards (3-2, 1-2 TAC). Megan Kay added 22 points and 11 kills and Jessie Szackas had 21 assists.

BELOIT -- Rachael Boyce scored 25 points to pace the Warriors (4-4, 2-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). She also had three kills and seven passes. Casey Benner added 12 points, three kills and seven pases. Becky Rinyo finished with nine points, eight assists and five passes.
