CANFIELD
Aug. 29
Marijuana: A 26-year-old Youngstown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing, after police found a bag of 2.5 grams of marijuana in his vehicle at Fairview Drive.
Aug. 30
Theft: Two four-wheelers were stolen from the El Patio Motel, 485 W. Main St.
Arrest: A 30-year-old Canfield man was arrested on a warrant from the Austintown Police Department charging him with failure to appear on a petty theft charge involving an offense at the El Patio Motel.
Aug. 31
Carrying a concealed weapon: A 57-year-old Poland man was arrested at Bob's Service, West Main Street, on charges of improper handling of a firearm and failure to inform officers he possessed the weapon. The man had a gun holster in his vehicle and a permit, but his handgun was in the console of the vehicle and not secured in a locked glove compartment or in plain view on his person, as is required by law, police said
Sept. 1
Hit-skip: A 49-year-old Austintown man was arrested at U.S. Route 62 and Wadsworth Road at Whispering Meadows on a charge of failure to report an accident after he fled the scene in a white Mitsubishi after causing an accident.
Sept. 3
Drug offenses: A 37-year-old Warren woman was arrested on charges of drug abuse, obtaining and possessing, after police found 1.7 grams of marijuana and a roach in her car. She had rear-ended another vehicle on Lisbon Street and moved along with traffic instead of stopping. Her 11-year-old son was a passenger in the car.
Sept. 4
Drugs, paraphernalia: A 34-year-old Columbiana man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse, obtaining and possessing after police found a plastic bag of marijuana and a partially smoked marijuana cigarette, a green pipe, rolling papersand a pair of orange scissors with marijuana residue. He was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on South Broad Street.

Aug. 29
Burglary: A kitchen door was kicked in in the 100 block of North Turner Road.
Criminal trespass: A woman was issued a summons on a criminal trespass charge involving Bob Evans Restaurant, 1100 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Drug abuse: A Youngstown man was arrested at Mahoning and Kleber avenues on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged at Ruby Tuesday's, 5555 Mahoning Avenue.
Aug. 30
Theft: Beer was stolen after hours at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A 1999 red Chrysler 300 was stolen from the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM/compact-disc player was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Paisley Avenue.
Theft: Fuel was taken from the Sheetz gas station.
Vandalism: A window was broken and water poured on the floor in the 6000 block of Stoneyridge Drive.
Theft: $20 worth of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Money was taken from the 300 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: $110 was stolen from the 200 block of North Main Street.
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player and money were stolen from a vehicle at the Upstairs Lounge, 4500 Mahoning Ave.
Aug. 31
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was taken from the 6000 block of Fairview Drive.
Attempted burglary: Someone tried to break in through the basement window of a house in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.
Theft: $15 in gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: A cellular phone was stolen from Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Theft: A Huffy 10-speed, gray and pink mountain bike was stolen from the 3000 block of Avalon Court.
Theft: A man is a suspect in the theft of a credit card stolen in the 1000 block of Signature Place.
Weapons offense: Two men were arrested on a weapons offense in the 1200 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: Women's clothing was stolen from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Attempted auto theft: Damage to a vehicle's window and steering column was reported at Appollo Auto, 1164 N. Meridian Road.
Auto theft: A 2000 Budget rental truck was stolen from Budget Truck Rental, 6533 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A credit card was taken at the Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.
Breaking and entering: The lock to a shed was cut and household items were taken at Mike's Storage, 1217 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Burglary: Credit cards were taken and later recovered in the 400 block of Southward Drive.
Drug offense: A Mineral Ridge man was arrested at Mahoning Avenue and Four-Mile Run Road on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Sept. 2
Counterfeit currency: A $20 counterfeit bill was passed at Lucianno's Restaurant, 1732 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A window to a residence was damaged in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.
Theft from auto: A radio was taken from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Yolanda Place.
Possible property damage: A window was broken on a vehicle in the 3000 block of Nashua Court.
Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge that occurred in the 3400 block of Allendale Drive.
Sept. 3
Criminal damaging: A satellite dish was damaged in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the 50 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Theft from auto: A purse was stolen from Weaver Chiropractic, 1130 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Property damage: Someone shot a paintball at a garage door in the 3000 block of New Road.
Theft, drug abuse: Two men were arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. One of the men also was charged with stealing gas at Sheetz gas station.
Aggravated menacing: A woman was threatened by three people in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.
Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was accused of being intoxicated while at Wendy's, 27 S. Raccoon Road.

Auto theft: A 1978 Chevrolet 2500 was stolen from the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: A compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
