Snyderwine, Wilson pace Sharon victory

SHARON -- Mike Snyderwine threw two touchdown passes while A.J. Wilson ran for two scores to lead Sharon High to a 34-16 football win over Girard (Pa.) Friday night.
Snyderwine hit K.J. Smith and Justin Page on scoring passes of 68 and 18 yards, respectively, and finished with 173 yards passing on a perfect 8-for-8.
Smith had three catches for 121 yards to also pace Sharon (1-0).
Wilson scored on runs of 52 and 3 yards and wound up with 150 yards on the ground in 20 carries.
Mike Wright led Girard (0-1) by rushing for 53 yards in 17 carries and passing for 52 yards on 6-for-8. Ricky Ayers added 38 yards rushing in 10 carries.
