SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 8273 High St. N.E., Warren, activities are as follows: Sept. 12, a Monday Morning Men's club will be formed for those interested in bridge, pinochle, poker, billiards, chess and computer usage and chess, meetings will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Monday, SCOPE membership ($12 per year) is required; Sept. 13, computer classes will resume from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, the cost for each three-day class is $15 to be paid to the instructor; Sept. 14, doors open at 6 p.m. for a dinner at 6:30 and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30, the cost is $10 in advance or $15 at the door; Sept. 15, at noon there will be a slide presentation relating to the Feb. 17, 2006, Hawaiian cruise, the public is welcome, and reservations are required. On Oct. 15-16 there will be a West Virginia foliage weekend trip, cost is $199 per person. Computer classes will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday mornings beginning Sept. 19. The course will present basic concepts of Windows.
