McDonald rolls easy past Windham 32-0



Matt Krumpak threw a pair of TD passes for the Blue Devils.
WINDHAM -- The 1-2-3 offensive punch of Matt Krumpak, Matt Firment and Joe Witkoski -- each involved in two touchdowns -- spearheaded the McDonald High football team to a 32-0 romp past Windham Friday night.
Krumpak threw two TD passes, one each to Firment and Witkoski covering 24 and 52 yards, respectively, and finished with 158 yards in the air on 6-for-10.
Firment also ran 66 yards to a TD and compiled 111 yards rushing in 12 carries, while Witkoski also tallied on a 23-yard run and had 58 yards rushing in six attempts.
David Dugan also bolstered McDonald (2-0) by contributing 63 yards in 14 carries, including a 12-yard TD run, and also had a conversion dash. Chris Mark chipped in with 39 yards in five runs.
For Windham (0-2), Brent Finchim rushed for 91 yards in 20 carries while Zach Jacobson threw for 80 yards on 6-for-19.
Lisbon 43, Minerva 20
LISBON -- Unbeaten Lisbon (2-0) rushed out to a 35-7 halftime lead and the Lions (0-2) couldn't recover.
Dana Rose caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Chris Smith to give Lisbon a 6-0 lead and he also scored on runs of 19 and 3 yards and finished with 80 yards rushing on 14 attempts.
Josh Grafton rushed 11 times for 94 yards, which included touchdown runs of 14 and two yards to pace the Blue Devils.
Lisbon gained 247 yards on 40 carries, while Smith was 11-of-18 for 128 yards.
Minerva rushed for 196 yards on 45 tries and the Lions connected on 5-of-11 passes for 65.
Leetonia 26, Western Reserve 6
LEETONIA -- Jon Williams rushed for 95 yards and scored a touchdown, to lead Leetonia.
Jake Kruegel added 64 yards rushing for the Bears (1-1), while Corey Raushenbach threw a touchdown pass to Dustin Bertschman.
Raushenbach also returned an interception 55 yards for a score.
Shawn Bryant paced Western Reserve (0-2) with 61 yards on the ground.
Brandon Moherman completed 14-of-30 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown to Chris Truitt of 21 yards. Truitt caught five passes for 67 yards.
Norwayne 55, Lowellville 6
LOWELLVILLE -- Aaron Hartzler rushed for 127 yards on 18 carries, which included touchdown runs of 13 and 6 yards as Norwayne evened its record at 1-1.
Lucas Gonzales caught a 65-yard TD pass from Dave Minnie as the Rockets slipped to 0-2.
Norwayne gained 290 yards rushing and 74 passing. The Rockets were limited to 82 rushing and 75 passing.
Mogadore 28, Jackson-Milton 6
NORTH JACKSON -- Quarterback Sean Eiseneraut connected on 10-of-16 passes for 171 yards. Three of the passes were TD strikes to Shane Smith for 19 yards, Sonny Owen for 18 and Mark Stahl for 13.
Raymond Seawright returned a kickoff 97 yards for Jackson-Milton's (1-1) only TD.
The Wildcats (1-1) gained 346 yards rushing. The Bluejays rushed for 17 yards and they were 1-of-5 passing for minus 3 yards.
