Canfield junior women plan annual market

CANFIELD -- The Junior Women's League of Canfield will sponsor its 36th annual Fall Market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 17 on Canfield Village Green at the intersection of state Route 224 and 46.
More than 100 vendors will participate in the event. They will be selling such things as seasonal decorations, wearable art, florals, handcrafted items, antiques and fresh product.
Admission is free, and parking will be provided in designated areas near the green.
Vendors interested in reserving space should contact Terri Schade at (330) 533-7168. Schade and Rita Peters are serving as chairpersons for the event.
The league, a nonprofit organization, will donate proceeds from the market to the community. Each year the group uses the funds to award three high school scholarships and to support charitable causes.
