XSHARON, Pa. -- The gardens surrounding Buhl Mansion provided the setting at noon July 31 for the wedding of Angela Kristine Olin, a daughter of Anthony and Phyllis Olin, 1450 Barbie Drive, Boardman, and U.S. Army Sgt. David Joseph Briceland, a son of Col. Patrick and Mary Grace Briceland, 8567 Reserve Court, Poland.
Maj. David Ryan presided at the ceremony.
The bride wore a white satin gown designed with a mermaid-style skirt that flowed into a chapel train and was embellished with crystals and pearls along the neckline and on the spaghetti straps.
A petal pink and white gown was worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Annette Hinrichs of Boardman.
Serving as the groom's attendant was Christina Briceland of Poland, his sister.
The groom left the following day for Iraq, where he is serving with the U.S. Army. He has been a member of the Army Reserves since 2001. He also attended YSU, where he pursued a bachelor's degree in political science.
The bride graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is a general manager at the Emerald Diner in Hubbard.
A reception will be held in honor of the couple when the groom completes his tour of duty.
