"Fashion Rocks" (9 p.m., CBS): This second annual celebration of the melding of music and fashion was to be taped Thursday at New York's Radio City Music Hall. The concert features performers with ties to fashion such as Gap model Joss Stone, Gwen Stefani, Nelly and Beyonc & eacute;, all of whom have their own clothing lines; and David Bowie -- husband of supermodel Iman -- who is the current face of designer Tommy Hilfiger's tailored menswear line.
Also scheduled to perform are Alicia Keys, Shakira, Tim McGraw, Duran Duran and the Arcade Fire.
"Movies That Shook the World" (10 p.m., AMC): This series spotlights films that stand out for their social impact, beginning with 1987's "Fatal Attraction," starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close.
That story features a married man whose one-night stand morphs into a nightmare, as the woman invades his life, with violent results.
Douglas and Close are among those who comment on the movie's message and its effect on audiences.
Upcoming installments will showcase "The Graduate" and "Do the Right Thing."
