XAUSTINTOWN -- A reception was held Aug. 13 at the Saxon Club in honor of Thomas F. Casey and his bride, the former Danielle J. Valentine, following their wedding at 4 p.m. that day at Grace Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Paul Toelke presided at the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Spicker, 205 Forest Hill Drive, and the son of Donna Casey, 2432 Frostwood Drive.
After a wedding trip to Sarasota, Fla., the couple live at 4843 Westchester Drive.
The bride's white chiffon gown was embellished with beading and featured jeweled spaghetti straps and a chapel train.
Gowns in varying shades of purple were worn by the honor attendant, Shira Puncekar of Youngstown, and the bridesmaids, Ashlee Lemke; Megan Casey, the groom's sister; Colleen Casey, his cousin; and Krystina Spicker, the bride's sister, all of Austintown.
Dennis O'Hara of Austintown performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Bill Valentine and Tommy Spicker, the bride's brothers; Eric Diefenderfer; and Dan Horacek, all of Austintown. The groom's cousin, Vince Casey of Austintown, was the usher.
The bride, who served with the Air Force for six months, attended Youngstown State University and is a manager at Sheetz.
The groom, a laborer with Laborers Local 125 in Boardman, also attended YSU.
