XBOARDMAN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 by Lydia Michele Mace of Seven Hills and John Matthew Bushling of Youngstown as they were united in marriage at Calvary Assembly of God where a reception was held immediately afterward.
The Rev. David Bennett presided at the ceremony for the daughter of William and Michele Mace of Little Rock, Ark., and the son of John T. and Diane Bushling of Youngstown.
After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple live in Boardman.
The bride's white satin strapless gown was enhanced with a full length lace jacket.
Plum-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Colleen Hruska, and the bridesmaids, Jessica Headley and Melissa Headley, cousins of the bride; Elizabeth Crowther, the groom's sister; and Nicole Bushling, his sister-in-law.
The duties of best man were shared by the groom's brothers, Matthew Bushling and Andrew Bushling, and groomsmen were Justin Fain; Jeff Crowther, the groom's brother-in-law; and Christopher Mace, a brother of the bride.
The bride graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in liberal studies. She is a teacher with the Potential Development Program in Youngstown.
The groom is an administration assistant with Calvary Assembly of God. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.
