XPOLAND -- The Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Paul Kittel of North Lima and his bride, the former Wendy Baum of Lowellville, who were married at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Poland United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Blood.
The couple were honored afterward during a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. They live in North Lima.
Parents of the bride are Dennis and Janice Baum of Lowellville, and the groom's parents are Lois Kittle of Salem and Larry Kittel of Youngstown.
The bride's mock two-piece, off-the-shoulder style organza gown was enhanced with pearls and sequins. It featured a sweetheart neckline, cap sleeves and a cathedral train.
Sunset-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Michelle Baum, the bride's sister, and Nicole Wallis, and the bridesmaids, Marcie Consiglio, Melinda Williams, Jessica Kausits and Adrianne Longo. Flower girl was Ariana Jones.
Best man was Nick Toy, and groomsmen were Ben Crumbacher, Jason Oliver, Chris Savich, Tim Wince and the groom's brother, Jim Kittel. Ring bearer was Shawn Kittel, the groom's brother, and usher was Steve Turek.
The bride, a managing cosmetologist, graduated from the Hair Academy in Austintown and is the self-employed owner of Bubbles and Beauty at Salon Suites in Boardman.
The groom, a bricklayer with Local 8 at DeSalvo Construction in Youngstown, completed a masonry apprenticeship program in Youngstown.
