Warren schools hires business manager



WARREN -- Mark Donnelly will join the Warren City School District on Wednesday as executive director of business operations.
His starting annual salary will be $81,502 under a contract that runs through June 30, 2007. The board of education voted to hire Donnelly Oct. 18.
Scott Romans has been serving as interim executive director of business operations since the resignation of Jim Russo this summer.
Donnelly, of Rootstown, has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and management systems. Before joining Warren City Schools, he served for more than three years as manager of purchasing and distribution and six years as internal auditor for the Akron Board of Education.
Donnelly earned his bachelor's degree in accounting, cum laude, from the University of Akron. He is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor.
