Spooktacular set at Children's Museum
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Second Annual Halloween Spooktacular will take place this weekend at the Children's Museum of the Valley, 139 E. Boardman St.
"Not-So-Scary Halloween Movie Night" will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and join members of the Youngstown Phantoms hockey team for popcorn and apple cider. Admission is $2 per person. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the museum will be decorated for Halloween and will offer arts and crafts, gross science experiments, hissing cockroach races and spooky story times.
Join Krispy Kreme from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for doughnut dipping. Children (and accompanying adults) are invited to dress in costume. Families who bring a carved pumpkin will be entered into a drawing for a free family membership.
Saturday's Halloween party is included in daily admission: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for children 3-18.
