Several personnel and board appointments were approved by commissioners at their meeting conducted Thursday night in Struthers City Hall. Actions by Commissioners David Ludt, Anthony T. Traficanti and Atty. John A. McNally included:
Approving a $225,000 contract with Community Legal Aid Services to provide legal services for eligible Job and Family Service Agency clients.
Appointing Attorney Don L. Hanni Jr. and Patrick Pellin to serve on the Western Reserve Port Authority, effective immediately until Dec. 31, 2006, for the unexpired terms of William Kelley and William Reali, respectively.
Re-appointing Youngstown Police Chief Robert Bush Jr. to the Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority for a five-year term, effective Dec. 1, 2005.
Hiring Mariann O'Halloran as deputy director for administrative support services at Job and Family Services, effective Nov. 21. O'Halloran is chief deputy auditor.
Hiring John Pirko as building inspector for the Building Inspection Department, effective Nov. 21.
