XBoardman-Canfield Branch of American Association of University Women will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Boardman Library with Barbara Ade presiding. XYo-Mah-O Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) will have its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 8 at Shepherd of the Valley, Western Reserve Road, Poland. XChristian Women's Club South will hold a luncheon meeting from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman. Entertainment will be by the Judy Conti Praise Team and soloist Rita Busin. The speaker will be Susan Thomas of Bexley whose theme is "The Fragrance of Life." XOhio Cultural Alliance dinner meeting will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. The theme will be "Enriching Elements of Life: Music." The speaker will be Dr. Ronald Gould, professor emeritus at Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music. He will both talk about music and perform on the church organ. The cost for this event is $11 for each paid member and $16 for non-members. Annual membership is $25. XMahoning County Retired Teachers Association will meet Nov. 9 at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman. The social hour will be at 11 a.m. with luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Legislators have been invited, and Joe Endry will be honored for his many years of service with the Ohio STRS Board. XPoland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church. There will be a casserole luncheon, and the craft will be decorating a square pillow with poinsettias. Members are to take a glue gun and scissors. XFriends of the Poland Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Poland Library meeting room. Members are asked to take their favorite book to review and donate for auction. XAn annual World Community Day luncheon will be sponsored by Church Women United Nov. 4 at St. Stephen's Rectory.
