POLAND
Oct. 19
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 34-year-old man at his Johnston Place home on a domestic-violence charge. The suspect's wife alleged he threatened to hit her if she refused to pull over the car she was driving.
Oct. 22
Criminal damaging: A Columbiana man discovered tires on his vehicle were slashed while visiting a residence in the 50 block of Poland Manor Drive.
Oct. 24
Forgery: A Centennial Drive man reported another man interested in buying the victim's car for $2,300 sent a money order. After a series of transactions, the victim told police Home Savings and Loan informed him some of the money orders were counterfeit. The victim said he lost more than $4,000.

Oct. 23
Theft: A woman told police she was the victim of a theft as well as misuse of a credit card and identity fraud while at Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Auto theft: A man came out of the Southern Park Mall and saw that his car had been stolen.
Theft: An employee at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd., discovered a television missing from a room.
Theft/arrest: After a man reported being a victim of theft while at Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road, he was arrested when police learned he was wanted on a warrant from the Mahoning County Sheriff's Department.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported someone deliberately used a tool to scratch her mother's car at Antone's Banquet Centre & amp; Gourmet Catering, 8578 Market St.
Vandalism: Two vending machines were damaged, one at Luc's Auto Service, 4100 Market St., and the other at Cycle Sales, 7661 South Ave.
Theft: A man reported a handgun stolen from his vehicle at an unknown Boardman location.
Theft: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 50, on a theft charge after clothing was stolen from Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall.
Arrest: A 26-year-old Leetonia man was arrested during a traffic stop in Boardman. He was wanted on a warrant from Columbiana County charging him with failure to appear on a contempt-of-court charge.

Auto theft: A man in the 4900 block of Southern Boulevard reported his car stolen.
Theft: A Boardman man found out money was removed from his checking account at an unknown location.
Burglary: A break-in was reported at a residence in the 400 block of Mathews Road.
Theft: A woman discovered three credit cards missing after using another one at Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave.
Arrest: A 42-year-old Boardman woman was arrested on a felony warrant charging her with three counts of passing bad checks.
Arrest: During a traffic stop, police took into custody a Youngstown man, 24, wanted on a warrant charging him with domestic violence. He also faced felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm after officers say they found a weapon in his car.
Weapon: A 19-year-old Youngstown man faced a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon after police say they found a weapon in a car they had pulled over.
Oct. 25
Criminal damaging: An employee at Taylor Toyota of Boardman, 8250 Market St., discovered damage to vehicles in the parking lot.
Burglary: A man in the 4800 block of Grover Drive reported a burglary and property stolen.
Theft: Two jewelry items valued at a total of $22.47 were taken from Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road.
Assault: A woman reported being assaulted at Gorant Candies-Yum Yum Tree, 8301 Market St.
Burglary: A break-in was reported at an apartment in the 4500 block of Southern Boulevard. Undisclosed items were stolen.
Theft: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown woman on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools. She was accused of stealing four pairs of jeans from T.J. Maxx & amp; More, 717 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft/criminal damaging: Someone pried open a vending machine at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., and removed money.
Theft: A Youngstown woman, 20, faced a theft count after four bottles of cologne were stolen from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Two cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a Shell True North station, 950 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrest: A 22-year-old Youngstown woman was picked up on a felony warrant from Boardman charging her with grand theft. She also faced felony charges of identity fraud, receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card related to another case.
Arrests: After police responded to a report of two men trying to use a woman's credit card, they arrested a Lowellville man, 24, and a Hermitage, Pa., man, 36. One was wanted on a felony warrant from Lowellville charging him with theft; the other man was wanted on a warrant from Beaver Township charging him with possession of drug-abuse instruments.
