XPITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Trinity Cathedral in Pittsburgh was the setting at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24 for the wedding of Jill Hoover and Anthony Knez Jr., both of Boardman.
The marriage was solemnized by the Rev. Canon Cathleen Brall and the couple accepted congratulations during a reception held at The LeMont on Mount Washington, Pa.
The bride, a daughter of Paul Hoover of Austintown and Denise Hoover of Canfield, and the groom, a son of Ellen and Anthony Knez Sr. of Boardman, honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Boardman.
The bride wore a strapless silk ballgown.
Chocolate-brown gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amy Mericle of New Middletown, and the bridesmaids, Krissie Cionni of Boardman and Shelley Murray of Youngstown. The groom's nieces, Kate and Rachel Rector of Columbus, served as flower girls.
Best man was Ryan Nespeca of Boardman, and groomsmen were Michael Montell of Canfield and Jeff Bridley and Joe Borris, both of Boardman. Ring bearer was Tommy Mericle of New Middletown, and ushers were the bride's brother, Brian Hoover of Baltimore, Md., and Jason Mericle of New Middletown.
The bride, a sales associate with Pulte Homes in Solon, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The groom attended YSU and is the owner of TLK Painting in Youngstown.
