XBOARDMAN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged on Sept. 24 by Allyson M. Ambrose, 38 Court St., Canfield, and Timothy C. Russell, 250 Chapel Lane, Canfield, as they were united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony at Boardman United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Peg Welch officiated at the wedding for the daughter of William and Terry Ambrose, 466 S. Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg, and the son of William and Linda Russell of the Chapel Lane address.
After a reception at Tiffany's Banquet Center in Brookfield, the couple left on a wedding trip to Deep Creek, Md. They live at the Court Street address.
Designed in an off-the-shoulder mode, the bride's ivory silk gown featured a court train.
Wine-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Linde Sutherly of Tipp City, and the bridesmaids, Regan Shanower of Cortland, Leslie Haught of Canfield and Emily Meade of Erie, Pa., a cousin of the bride. Flower girls were the bride's cousins, Jocelyn Beatty of Cortland and Vanessa Reilly of Howland.
Serving as best man was Mark Russell of Youngstown, a brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Dean Shanower of Cortland, Paul Zolman of Sandusky, and Ross Ambrose of Leavittsburg, a brother of the bride.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in English and is a dispatcher with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
The groom, a driver with Canteen Service in Youngstown, attended Bowling Green State University.
