Man is arraigned in shooting death

WARREN -- A man charged with aggravated murder in the Saturday morning shooting of a 37-year-old city woman is in Trumbull County Jail on a $1 million surety bond.
David Nolan Hollie, 26, of Porter Street Northeast, was arraigned by video from Trumbull County Jail on Monday. Municipal Judge Terry Ivanchak entered an innocent plea on his behalf and set a preliminary hearing for 1:30 p.m. Monday in his court.
According to a police report, Angeline Lavine, 37, of Scott Street Northeast, was shot in the head with a handgun at about 2:10 a.m. Saturday in a residence at 422 Summit St. N.W.
She was taken by ambulance to Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
After interviewing witnesses and conducting a preliminary investigation, police said they arrested Hollie at his residence within an hour after the shooting. Hollie was initially jailed on a felonious-assault charge, but the charge was increased to aggravated murder after Lavine died.
The report did not provide details concerning what led to the shooting.
