XBERLIN CENTER -- Melissa Barney became the bride of Bryan Renner in a 4:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 17 at the Berlin Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russell Libb officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Robert and Wendy Barney of 16207 Heiser Road. The groom's parents are Sandy Harris of 325 Miller Farm Road, Edinburg, Pa., and Craig Renner of 14061 Youngstown-Pittsburg Road, Petersburg.
After a reception at Roby Lee's in Newton Falls, the couple left for Tahiti and Moorea. They are residing at 14036 Youngstown-Pittsburg Road, Petersburg.
The bride wore a strapless, champagne-colored satin gown with silver embroidery and pearl beading on the bodice. Her attendants were attired in chocolate-colored dresses.
Amy Gedra was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Croft, Jen McCammon, Marla McGee, Lisa Wellington, Lindsey Wentzel and the bride's cousin, Natalie Haney. Another cousin, Shannon Marshburn, was the flower girl.
Tom Klim served as best man. The groomsmen were Bob Barney, the bride's brother; Scott Parks; Ryan Nelson; Gary Harris; Jason Orr; and Matt Miglore. Mitchell Craig, the bride's cousin, was the ring bearer.
The bride earned her associate degree at Youngstown State University and is a dental hygienist with Drs. Andrew Wojtkowski and Robert Ohl in Canfield.
The groom is a financial adviser with Brennan Financial Group in Poland. He holds a bachelor's degree from YSU.
