JOYLYNN BODOSTEVE VAN ZUYLEN
XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of JoyLynn Bodo and Steve Van Zuylen was solemnized by the Rev. James Daprile in a 1 p.m. ceremony Sept. 17 in St. Brendan Church.
The bride is the daughter of Marsha and Paul Robinson of 460 North Osborn Ave. and Richard Bodo Sr. of Lake Milton. The groom is a son of Johanna Van Zuylen of Christchurch, New Zealand, and the late Bill Van Zuylen.
After a reception at Willow Creek in Girard, the couple left for a wedding trip to Las Vegas.
The bride wore a white taffeta gown adorned with beads and extending to a cathedral train. train. Her attendants were dressed in blue satin.
Melissa McGuigan of Chesterland was the matron of honor for her cousin. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Paulsey of Struthers and the bride's sisters-in-law, Josanne Bodo of Mineral Ridge and Jennifer Bodo of Corinth, Texas. The bride's niece, Anna Bodo of Mineral Ridge, was flower girl.
Rob Buydos served as best man. Groomsmen were Mark Bodo of Mineral Ridge and Richard Bodo Jr. of Corinth, the bride's brothers; James Lavender, New Zealand; and Seth Rouse, Chicago. Dylan Paulsey, Struthers, was the ring bearer, and ushers were Kenneth Turocy, Cleveland, and Jeff Turocy, Long Beach, N.Y., the bride's cousins.
The bride, who earned her bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University, is employed by Telecom in New Zealand. Her husband works for Harley-Davidson in New Zealand.
