Teens to show talent on New Year's Eve

YOUNGSTOWN -- First Night & reg;Youngstown will be presenting its first Teen Talent Fest on New Year's Eve 2005.
Talent auditions will be Oct. 31 and Nov. 1-2 at the Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane (off Glenwood Avenue). The fest is open to all teens 13 to 19 in the greater Youngstown area. There is a $5 registration fee.
The Teen Fest performance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 31 at 20 Federal Place (the former Phar-Mor building). The mistress of ceremonies will be Miss Ohio Marlia Fontaine.
Prizes will be awarded: first place, $300; second place, $200; and third place, $100. All participants will be awarded a prize.
