XBoardman South 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 3 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Elmer Haidle will preside, and the menu choice is roast turkey or baked scrod for $12.50. The speaker will be Bertram de Souza of The Vindicator, and anniversaries and birthdays will be observed.

XErie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Lucianno's Restaurant, 1732 Raccoon Road, Austintown. After lunch there will be reports on the health and welfare of railroad retirees. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. All railroad retirees are welcome. Membership is open.
LIBERTY
XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet Wednesday at Churchill United Methodist Church. Beginning at 10 a.m. the Board of Elections will present a demonstration of voting machines and write-ins. The meeting will follow at 11 with Wilda Clifton presiding. Donations and paper products will be collected for the Ronald McDonald Home. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; beverages will be provided. The program will be "Songs by Two" with Pete Rukenbarod at the keyboard and Jay Dee Paner singing. Hosts will be Margaret Wilster and Ralph and Becky McCauley. Payments will be collected for the Thanksgiving dinner to be held Nov. 9 at Frankie's Restaurant in Hubbard. The price is $8 each for a buffet with beef and stuffed chicken breast.
There will also be a Christmas dinner at noon Dec. 14 at Liberty Presbyterian Church. The catered dinner with pork chops or stuffed chicken breast will cost $9 each. Guests are welcome at all meetings.

XBridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. XRetired Registered Nurses will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, for the annual fall casserole luncheon. Members whose last names begin with A through I are asked to take dessert; J through R, entree; and S through Z, salad. Those attending should also take their own table service. All area retired registered nurses are welcome.
