CLASSES

CLUBS
XAmerican Hungarian Club will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the club, Donald Avenue, Youngstown. On the agenda will be discussion of a dobos torte sale in November, a chicken paprikash dinner and a Christmas party for members in December.
XMcDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
XNew Middletown Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at C & amp;C Mobile Home clubhouse with Mary Jane Baker and Marlene Luzik serving as hostesses.
XNewcomers Club will meet at the Giant Eagle parking lot in Canfield at 9 :30 a.m. Wednesday to carpool to North Canton for a tour of the Harry London Chocolate Factory at 11 a.m. Lunch will follow at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant. Call (330) 702-1767.
XOhio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. Topic of speaker Dr. Ronald Gould, professor emeritus of YSU's Dana School of Music, will be "Enriching Elements of Life: Music." The meal will be prepared by the church caterers, organized by Darlene Wells. Cost is $11 for members and $16 for nonmembers. XPoland Women's Club will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Poland Library. The program will be a Chinese Auction with a Twist. Guests are welcome. XWarren Women's Connection will hold a Country Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Aulizio's Banquet Center, 4395 Youngstown Road (Route 422). The cost is $10 and includes a silent auction of crafts, baked goods and home-canned items. Guest auctioneer is Marty Campana. XYoungstown Women's Connection will have Larry Morrow, known as the Voice of Cleveland WCRF, as guest speaker for a noon luncheon Nov. 8 in the Italian American Banquet Center, 115 S. XMahoning County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society, will hold a seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 29 with a talk on "Keys to the Courthouse" by Jana Sloan Broglin. The morning session will feature the probate court and the records office. The afternoon session will feature the court of common pleas and transcribing and abstracting documents.
