"2005 BLACK MOVIE AWARDS -- A CELEBRATION OF BLACK CINEMA: PAST, PRESENT & amp; FUTURE" (10 P.M., TNT): THIS SPECIAL RECOGNIZES CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENT BY BLACKS, BOTH IN FRONT OF AND BEHIND

"2005 Black Movie Awards -- A Celebration of Black Cinema: Past, Present & amp; Future" (10 p.m., TNT): This special recognizes creative achievement by blacks, both in front of and behind the camera, and honors outstanding films that portray the black experience. Among the films up for awards are "Crash," "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," "Hustle & amp; Flow" and "Coach Carter." Sidney Poitier will be honored for career achievement.
"Tripping the Rift" (10 p.m., Sci-Fi): In an entirely different take on animated comedy, Paul Reubens guest stars on this raunchy outer-space series as the voices of God and the devil. The show follows the exploits of a spaceship full of misfits including a universally obese purple alien captain, and a gorgeous cyborg voiced by Carmen Electra.
"Destination America" (10 p.m., PBS): This four-part documentary spotlights immigration from past to present. Filmmaker David Grubin looks at the forces that drive people from their homelands to seek America's promise. Grubin also pays particular attention to the plight of women trying to find opportunity and freedom. Among those featured are Rodi Alvarado, a native Guatemalan seeking political asylum; Taiwan's Fang-Yi Sheu, now a dancer with the Martha Graham Company, and Russian artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov.
