CANFIELD
Oct. 10
Vandalism: A resident in the 50 block of Talisman Drive reported a front window broken.
Theft: A woman reported her son's suit coat jacket had been stolen at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive, during the prom.
Arrest: A 29-year-old Canfield man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant from Austintown charging him with failure to appear on a receiving charge. He was arrested in the parking lot of Lane Apartments with a pack of rolling papers, police say.
Oct. 11
Misuse of a credit card: A credit card was reported stolen from a home in the 500 block of East Regency Drive. The owner reported several charges that she did not make appeared on the account.
Oct. 12
Vandalism: A Canfield High School student reported someone used a key to damage her car's finish in the school's parking lot.

Oct. 10
Theft: A compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Stolen property: Stolen jewelry was pawned at Austintown Pawn Shop, 3700 Mahoning Avenue. Police arrested a Hubbard man they say stole the items before pawning them.
Theft: Items were taken from a trailer at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Pinegrove Drive.
Theft: A dolly was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Riblet Avenue.
Burglary: A basement window was kicked in but no items were found missing after the break-in at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road. No items were reported missing.
Criminal mischief: Dog feces were left on the porch of a residence in the 4000 block of Woodridge Court.
Forgery: A woman was arrested on a charge of forgery at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.

Theft: An employer reportedly refused to pay a former employee from a residence in 30 block of Placid Boulevard.
Counterfeit money: Two counterfeit $5 bills were passed at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Vandalism: Building damage was reported at the Tune-Up Tavern, 255 S. Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal damaging: Vehicle damage was reported at 3780 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Scrap metal was taken from a home in the 800 block of Ohltown Road.
Burglary: Spray paint was used to damage property during a burglary at a residence in the 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.
Theft: Fuel was taken at Sheetz gas station on two occasions.
Breaking and entering: A storage shed was broken into but nothing was taken at a residence in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Burglary: A jewelry box was taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Suspicious package: A woman reported that a warning was written on the bottom of a food container she had bought two days earlier at Burger King, 5310 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: $20 worth of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz.
Theft: Power tools were stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage to the screen door and vinyl siding were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Theft: A CD player was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.
Theft: Items were stolen from a vehicle at Adams Appliance, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A CD player was taken from a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown through the window of a residence in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Breaking and entering: A chainsaw and a leaf blower were taken from a home in the 800 block of Ohltown Road.
Theft: A purse was taken from a woman's car at a home in the 100 block of North Raccoon Road.

Lost or stolen plate: A vehicle license plate was reported missing by the township.
