Rezeks renew marriage vows on 50th anniversary

XGIRARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Del Rezek, 991 Gary Ave., celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their nuptial vows Oct. 15 during a Mass at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, Youngstown, where they were married Oct. 15, 1955.
Afterward they were honored by friends and relatives during a dinner at Davidson's Restaurant.
Arrangements for the festivities were made by their family, Susan and Dan Pasqualucci of Wexford, Pa., and Sally and Gary Jones of Austintown. Also participating were their five granddaughters.
Mrs. Rezek, the former Millie Janosov, retired in 1997 from Bank One, where she was a teller. She is a member of SNPL Lodge 643.
Mr. Rezek served with the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He was a journeyman machinist with U.S. Steel Co., McDonald Works, for 31 years prior to retiring in 1981. He is a life member and vice president of SNPJ Lodge 643 and a charter member and secretary of the Penn-Ohio Polka Pals. He is in his 50th year of leading the Del Rezek Orchestra.
