XPOLAND -- Mark Krichbaum and his bride, the former Joyce Swantek, were married at 1 p.m. Sept. 17 at Poland United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Blood and honored during a reception held at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
After accepting congratulations, they left on a wedding trip to Hawaii. They are making their home at Munroe Falls.
Parents of the bride are Joseph and Jo-Ann Swantek of New Middletown. The groom is a son of Jeff Krichbaum and Diane Krichbaum, both of Boardman.
Embroidery enhanced the bride's strapless satin gown.
Wearing red gowns were Jennifer Diehl, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Christine Rupert, Tiffani Dattilo, Amy Garritano, Miriam Maughan, Claudia Swantek, Sharon Krichbaum, and Dawn Jackson. Flower girl was Norah Bush.
Serving as best men were Jeremy Jackson and Chris Rappach, and groomsmen were Kris Semenovich, Greg Whitemen, Matt Perrin, Chris Blanco, Joe Swantek, and Greg Swantek. Ring bearer was Nicholas Diehl.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is an account executive with Ben Venue Laboratories in Bedford.
The groom is a software engineer with NEC Unified Solutions in North Canton. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from YSU and a master's in business administration from the University of Findlay.
