Fitch girls top Poland
The Boardman, Mooney and Badger girls also won.
POLAND -- Dina Harris and Kristi Brendlinger scored goals Saturday as the Fitch High girls soccer team defeated Poland, 2-0. Jodi Bowlen and Erica Bortmas received assists for the Falcons (9-3-3).
Falcons goalkeeper Cara Calai made five saves while Poland (11-4-1) goalkeeper Samantha Stanich made 12 saves.
Wednesday, Poland and Fitch will play again in a tournament game.

Boardman 2, Canfield 2
CANFIELD -- Nikki Sorice and Jill Terreri scored a goal apiece for the Cardinals (8-4-4). Liz Vernal had an assist. Mallory Hay and Danielle Deley scored a goal apiece for the Spartans. Courtney Gratz had an assist.
Canfield had 28 shots on goals and Boardman had seven. Kayla LaMagan, goalkeeper, had five saves for the Cardinals. Lani Vlad had 15 saves for the Spartans.
Mooney 1, Champion 0
CHAMPION -- Senior Sara Garchar scored on a corner kick to give Mooney the victory. Senior Kelli Willis had the assist on the fourth goal of the season by Garchar that came 25 minutes into the first half.
The Cardinals (13-2-1) have won 10 in a row. The Golden Flashes (6-7-3) did not take a shot in the game.
Badger 5, Conneaut 4
CONNEAUT -- Hannah Miller scored three goals for Badger (9-7) and added an assist.
Cayla Arnold added two goals and two assists for the Braves. Amanda Gordon and Jenna Miller had one assist each, and Katy Dvorak stopped nine shots.
Kelly Paneto scored twice for Conneaut (12-3-1), while Christie Church and Krystin Gebe added one apiece. Hayley Griswold had two assists, and Church and Kelly Paneto each had one. Kelsey Graner made five saves.
Badger scored twice in the final 15 minutes to win the game.
Boys
VIENNA -- John Buckner, Corey Gray, Lane Peterson, Alex Johnson and Daniel Smith each scored for LaBrae in a 5-1 win over Mathews.
Brittany Seman scored for the Mustangs (2-14). Nate McLaughlin picked up the assist.
Canfield 2, Boardman 1
CANFIELD -- Canfield sophomore Mario Nigro scored the first goal of the game on an assist by senior Graham Shryock, while junior Kyle Reese scored on a penalty kick. Scoring for the Spartans was Sam Ragan, also on a penalty kick.
Canfield goalie Eric Clayton had eight saves while the Spartans' Matt Moore had six.

Mooney 9, Fitch 0
STRUTHERS -- Dom DiPasquale scored three times for Mooney (12-3-1), while Zach Hernan and Kyle Buxman added two apiece.
Hector Hernandez and Aleko Frangopoulos added a goal each for Mooney. Buxman, Frangopoulos, Tim Beck and Tom McBride all had assists.
Joe Sebaugh recorded eight saves for Fitch (3-12-1).
Volleyball
LISBON -- Lisbon defeated Lordstown, 25-20, 26-24, 25-23. Ashley Keller collected eight kills and six digs while Alisha Miller had 14 assists for Lordstown (14-8).
