Westminster to celebrate Fall Family Day

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westminster College will celebrate Fall Family Day on Oct. 29.
This Westminster tradition has gathered thousands of family members to Westminster College to celebrate and enjoy the special activities.
"My wife, Jean, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to meet the moms, dads, grandparents and siblings of some of the finest young people on earth," said Westminster College President R. Thomas Williamson.
Festivities begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and meeting with Williamson in the Witherspoon Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.
The meeting will begin with a campus update and will be followed by a question and answer session.
At 11 a.m., a family barbecue is planned at the Anderson Amphitheater. Football tickets can be bought at this event.
Family Day concludes with the Westminster College Titan football game vs. the Frostburg State University Bobcats at 1 p.m.
