Honoring Greek WWII vets
"The Greatest Hellenic Generation," a 30-minute panel discussion documentary featuring eight area Greek World War II veterans, all members of American Hellenic Educational and Progressive Association Zeus 88, will air at 3 p.m. Monday on Time Warner Cable Channel 15. The program will be rebroadcast on Channel 15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. through Nov. 15 to commemorate Veterans Day, said Mike Keriotis, executive producer. FKO Productions in Cortland, the Cortland Kiwanis Club and A.H.E.P.A. Zeus 88 in Warren sponsored the show.

Officer-in-charge of boat
Coast Guard Master Chief Boatswain's Mate Thomas A. Botzenhart, a native of Warren, is first officer-in-charge of the newly commissioned cutter the Sea Otter. The 87-foot coastal patrol boat was commissioned during ceremonies at Naval Station Point Loma in San Diego, Calif.

Navy Seaman John M. Bukovinsky, Petty Officer 3rd Class Kuiana J. Quinn, and Airman Christopher A. Eckley returned from a Middle East deployment serving aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge, which supports amphibious assault operations using specially designed Hovercraft and conventional landing craft and helicopters.
Bukovinsky, son of Kathy and Harry R. Bukovinsky of Youngstown, is a 2003 graduate of Boardman High School.
Eckley, son of Kathy Moon of Volant, Pa., and Charles R. Eckley of New Castle, Pa., is a 2002 graduate of Lawrence County Vocational Technical High School of New Castle.
Quinn, granddaughter of Alberta L. Booker of Youngstown, is a 2001 graduate of Chaney High School.

Army Pvt. Patrick M. Sullivan has graduated from the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Knox, Ky. Sullivan, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 81st Regiment, is the son of John M. and Beverly A. Sullivan of Boardman, and is a 1992 graduate of Boardman High School.

Completes basic training
Military Academy Cadet Matthew R. Rosebaugh, son of Mark and Christine Rosebaugh of Boardman, has completed cadet basic training. Rosenbaugh, a 2001 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, previously served three years in the Army's 82nd Airborne, including one year in Iraq.
