Two churches to show conference for women



Two area churches will present the third annual Extraordinary Women Conference via satellite Oct. 29. The event will include music, worship and renewal.
Locust Grove Baptist Church, 12015 Washingtonville Road, Greenford, will hold the program from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The conference is free but reservations are required. Call the Rev. Bob Noble, (800) 755-1629. Lunch will be provided.
Cortland Trinity Baptist Church, 2576 McCleary Jacoby Road, will hold the program from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $15 and includes a box lunch. Register by calling (330) 637-1421 by Oct. 23.
Speakers will be:
URuth Graham, daughter of Ruth and Billy Graham and teacher and author, on "Refresh Your Spirit Through Forgiveness."
UMichelle McKinney Hammon, author, songwriter and talk-show host, on "The Issue of Men."
ULisa Whelchel, actress and author, "The Arranged Marriage."
ULois Evans, senior vice president of the Urban Alternative, a national ministry founded by her husband, Dr. Tony Evans, which empowers and unites Christians to rebuild their lives.
UNatalie Grant, who established the Home Foundation to raise funds for victims of human trafficking.
