Stambaugh Pillars plan luncheon, fashion show
Proceeds will be used for the continued renovation of Stambaugh Auditorium.
YOUNGSTOWN -- A ninth annual holiday fashion show and luncheon will be held by Stambaugh Pillars to raise funds for the continued restoration of Stambaugh Auditorium.
Planned for Nov. 2 at the ballroom of the auditorium, the event will begin at 10 a.m. with a social hour, followed by a luncheon at 11:30 and the fashion show at 1 p.m. There will be a cash bar and raffle.
Raffle prizes will include a $500 shopping spree, a $300 shoe shopping spree, three designer baskets and 30 other prizes. Tickets for the drawing will be $1 each or six for $5, and are available at the auditorium.
Reservations are $30 per person, and tables of eight are available.
Invitations have been mailed; however, anyone wishing to attend may call (330) 747-5175 or visit the second floor payment office at Dillard's Department Store.
Behind the scenes
Jeanne Simeone and Jo-Ann Iaderosa are co-chairwomen for the event. Committee members are Barbara Banks, Carol Desmond, Toni Douglass, Leilani Drake, Mary Jane Karam, Dorothy Melody, Kathleen Rickert, Barbara Tinkham, Phyllis Wilkoff, Valerie Zurawick, Joyce Bernstine, Susan Rupert, Linda Sisek and Mary Lou Green. The honorary chairman is Robert Klein, store manager of Dillard's.
