KATHLEEN KOVACHSHAWN SPRAGUE
XCANFIELD -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Kathleen Kovach, 209 Fairground Blvd., and Shawn Sprague of Warren during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 17 as they were united in marriage at Canfield Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Dr. Charles Moffett officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Joseph and Rosemary Kovach, 158 Fairway Circle, Norwalk, and the son of John Sr. and Nancy Sprague, 3980 Westlake Drive, Cortland.
After a reception at the Maronite Center, Youngstown, the couple left for Disney World in Florida. They live in Warren.
Crystals and pearls adorned the bodice of the bride's white satin gown. It featured a scooped neckline and cap sleeves.
Apple-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Rachel Estok and Erin Lyden, and the bridesmaids, Kelly Moracco; Holly Frische, the bride's cousin; Jackie Dilisio; and Elaine Sprague, the groom's niece.
Stephen Sprague performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were John Sprague, the groom's brother; Todd Sprague Jr., his nephew; Robert Kovach, a brother of the bride; Matt Kessman; and Dave Mooney. Ring bearer was Tyler Kessman.
The bride earned a degree in business administration at Youngstown State University. She is a sales manager with Dillard's at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman.
The groom graduated from YSU with a degree in political science and is employed by John Sprague Cleaning in Cortland.
