XPOLAND -- Aruba was the honeymoon destination of Joseph Conroy, 40 Winona Drive, Canfield, and his bride, the former Carolyn Carcelli, 329 Carriage Lane, Canfield, who were married Sept. 16 at Holy Family Church.
Monsignor Thomas Kelly officiated at the 3:30 p.m. wedding, and afterward the couple accepted congratulations during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.
The bride is a daughter of Carmen and Ann Marie Carcelli, 7680 Brookstone Place, and the groom is a son of Richard and Kathryn Conroy, Hunters Woods, Canfield.
The newlyweds live at the Winona Drive address.
The bride's strapless gown of diamond-white satin featured a corset back and sweep train. It was embellished with embroidery, Swarovski crystals, pearls and bugle beads.
The honor attendant, Khrysanne Kerr, wore an apple-red gown, as did the junior bridesmaids, Carly Carcelli and Amanda Carcelli, the bride's nieces.
The duties of best man were performed by Jeffrey Fusco. Serving as ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Jared Carcelli, and ushers were the groom's brothers, Thomas Conroy, Richard Conroy and William Conroy.
Mrs. Conroy graduated from the University of Akron and is employed by Premier Therapy in North Lima.
Mr. Conroy, a graduate of Youngstown State University, is employed at First Place Bank in Canfield.
