Gunshots hit home on city's East Side

YOUNGSTOWN -- An older model green Pontiac Grand Prix was seen leaving the scene of gunfire in the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane on the East Side late Wednesday night, police said.
A 44-year-old woman said she was in her Rockford Village apartment at 11:50 p.m. when she heard someone outside shout "Get down!" She dropped to the floor and then heard several gunshots striking the outside brick wall of her apartment.
The woman said the gunfire may be related to her son, who is feuding with his girlfriend's father over their 1-year-old child.
Police recovered four .380-caliber casings from the concrete porch.
