Burger King manager reportedly robbed

CAMPBELL -- The shift manager of the Burger King at 685 McCartney Road was robbed as she entered her car in the restaurant's parking lot about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, according to police reports.
The victim told police a white man with long, curly blond hair came out of an alley behind Video Update, opened her car door and ordered her out of the vehicle.
When she refused, the man jumped onto her lap and began grabbing articles, including her purse and a carry bag.
When the manager resisted and struck the robber in the face, he hit her on the head and pulled her out of the car.
He then fled on foot via the same alley as he had arrived, police said. Police searched the area on foot but were unable to find the culprit.
