Armed man robs Youngstown woman

YOUNGSTOWN -- A man in a Freddy Krueger ("Nightmare on Elm Street") mask pointed a gun at the head of a 30-year-old Windsor Avenue woman around 9 p.m. Wednesday and robbed her of $32, reports show.
The woman told police that she was in her driveway to move her vehicle when the robber approached. She told him her money was in the house and he told her to go get it. The masked gunman waited by the front door, keeping the gun aimed at the woman, while she went to her purse on the couch.
Once she handed over the money, the robber said that he was on his way back to Struthers and that he would kill her and her family if she called police, reports show.
Although the mask covered the man's head, she saw that his hands were white.
He was wearing blue jeans and a blue flannel shirt.
Neighbors told police that a suspicious white man has been hanging around the neighborhood, lurking between houses the past few days. He is described as 6 feet tall and 175 to 200 pounds with short hair.
