WARREN -- A 46-year-old man is in fair condition at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital after being stabbed in his residence early Saturday.

In an unrelated incident, a 22-year-old Hazelwood Avenue Southeast man told police he was robbed at gunpoint at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, forced into the trunk of his car and driven around in the car by the two robbers. The victim was able to exit the trunk and jump from the moving car, which the robbers continued to drive.
At 11:50 p.m. Sunday, two robbers forced their way behind the counter, took money from the cash register and assaulted employees who tried to stop them at the Gem Mart, 860 Parkman Road N.W., a store employee told police.
Sunday's incident follows by five days another late-night robbery at the same food store, in which a masked man jumped the counter, grabbed two female employees and robbed them of $2,400 in cash that was in two registers and a money bag.
