Champagne luncheon and fashion show planned

Proceeds will benefit the organization's scholarship fund.
YOUNGSTOWN -- An annual champagne luncheon and fashion show has been planned by Youngstown Business and Professional Women's Club as a benefit for the organization's Anne McMahon Scholarship Fund.
Fonderlac Country Club, 1140 Paulin Road, Poland, will be the setting for the Oct. 22 event. Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the luncheon following at noon. Afterward, the latest fashions will be modeled, and there will be a cash bar and silent auction for 80 gifts and baskets.
Admission to the event is $25, and reservations are required by Friday. Checks should be made out to the YBPW and mailed to Heather Belgin, 4643 New England Blvd., Boardman, Ohio 44512. Tables of eight also can be reserved.
Among those arranging the fund-raiser are Ruth Bradshaw, president; Tracie Stephens, vice president; Pam Rymer, treasurer; Linda Deckant, fashion coordinator; Sandra Johnston, publicity; Lisa Mason, silent auction and program book; Minnie Andrews and Johnston; decorations; and Linda Murphy, Janet Byrne, Julie Wright and Judy Kovalan, committee members.
