SARAH HALVERSTADTLAWRENCE RUST
XNEW SPRINGFIELD -- Lawrence J. Rust and Sarah Halverstadt were honored during a reception held at the Salem Saxon Club following their Oct. 8 wedding at New Springfield Church of God.
The Rev. Ron Wamer presided at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Kristi Sines, 2517 Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, and Charles Halverstadt, 7806 Parkside Drive, Boardman, and the son of Lawrence C. and Linda Rust, 3317 E. South Range Road.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Pocono Mountains and live at 7438 Becky Court, Boardman.
Apple-red gowns were worn by the bride's cousin and honor attendant, Rebecca Wagner of Los Angeles, and the bridesmaids, Kimberly Taylor of New Springfield, her cousin; Amanda Fleming of North Lima; Tiffany McMillan of Boardman; and Margaret Gonzalez of Struthers. Flower girls were the bride's cousin, Janna Berger of Salem, and Alyssa Sipus of Youngstown, her niece.
Landen Rust of New Springfield performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Derek Sullivan of Canfield, Ron Howard of Duncannon, Pa., John Mentzer of Poland and Dan Halverstadt of Salem, the bride's brother. Her nephew, Joey Sipus of Youngstown, served as ring bearer.
Mrs. Rust earned a degree in surgical technology at Choffin School of Surgical Technology.
Mr. Rust graduated from YSU with a degree in electrical engineering.
