XYOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Michele Aey and Mark A. Shane, both of 3652 Mercedes Place, Canfield, took place at 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at St. Columba Cathedral.
Vow were exchanged by the couple during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. John Keehner.
They were honored during a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman before leaving for Riviera Maya, Mexico.
The daughter of Gerald and Nancy Aey, 695 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, and the son of Charlene Shane, 4021 Hopkins Road, and Dean Shane, 80 Willow Drive, Boardman, live in Canfield.
The bride's strapless, princess-style gown of organza over satin was adorned with crystals and pearls, and featured a cathedral train.
Pamela Bloomingdale, the honor attendant, wore a latte and vanilla gown, as did the bridesmaids, Gerrie Weidner, Karin Aey, Deana Housteau, Nicole Amadio and Allison Novicky. Flower girl was Natalie Shane.
The duties of best man were performed by Michael Shane, and groomsmen were John Aey, Michael Aey, Mark Bloomingdale, Devon Aey, Michael Amadio and Chris Luka. Ring bearer was Patrick Shane.
The bride, an sales assistant with Smith Barney in Canfield, graduated from Ken Delle Beauty Academy in Boardman and is a nail technician with Perfect Cut in Boardman.
The groom is a customer-service representative with La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Boardman.
