50th anniversary observance held for Fortunatos

XHUBBARD -- Cafe 422 in Niles was the setting at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 as friends and relatives gathered to honor Mr. and Mrs. Louis Fortunato, 1441 Warner Road, who were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary.
Invitations for the event were extended by the couple's family, Louis and Cheryl Fortunato of North Jackson, David Fortunato of Hubbard, and LeeAnn Fortunato-Heltzel of Poland. Also participating were the couple's five grandchildren.
Mr. Fortunato and the former Jeannette Glazzy were united in marriage Oct. 1, 1955, at John Hus Lutheran Church in Youngstown. They are members of Zion Lutheran Church.
Mr. Fortunato served with the U.S. Air Force as a staff sergeant during the Korean War. He retired in June of 1994 as an instructor at Trumbull County Joint Vocational School in Champion. His wife is a homemaker.
