YOUNGSTOWN -- Entries for the Youngstown Bowling Association Masters Tournament close Oct. 12 at 9 p.m.
The tournament starts Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Bell-Wick Bowl, followed by sessions on Oct. 15 at Boardman at 1 p.m. and at Amron at 6:30.
The final round is set for Oct. 16 at Kay Lanes at 1 p.m. The winner will receive a paid entry into the USBC Masters in Milwaukee in November.
Send entries to YBA, 7255 Glendale Ave., Youngstown, O. 44512. Makes checks payable to the Youngstown Bowling Association. Cost per entry is $80.
Vince Russo had 802 behind games of 256, 279 and 267 in Parker at Holiday on Oct. 1. It was Russo's first 800 series.
Meanwhile, Gary Gawdyda had 300 in Spiech Classic at Bell-Wick on Oct. 3.
