VOLLEYBALL Callie Oyler and Maggie Bogdan power Hubbard's TAC victory

LIBERTY -- The Hubbard High volleyball team defeated Liberty in three games Thursday in a Trumbull Athletic Conference volleyball match.
The Eagles won 25-15, 25-17, 25-13.
Leading Hubbard was Callie Oyler with 11 kills. Maggie Bogdan added nine kills and six blocks while Brittany Lange had eight kills and four blocks.
Corrie Gasser had 31 assists, Kate Tobey 12 digs and Lauren Ferguson 15 points.
The Leopards were led by Chelsea O'Donnell with four blocks and 11 points, Megan Kay with 12 points and four blocks, and Katie Greaf with seven points.
Hoover 25-25-25,Canfield 14-19-20
CANFIELD -- Natasha Kassim had 10 kills for Canfield (10-10), while Kate Heagerty added 17 assists and seven points. Kelsey Owen had 14 digs and Jackie Nentwick had eight blocks and 14 digs.
Hoover is 15-3.

CANFIELD -- Canfield (5-3 Metro Athletic Conference) was led by Nentwick, Courtney Rothbauer and Lorraine Fowler.
Nentwick had 15 points, three aces, 10 kills, three blocks and seven dig, while Rothbauer had 17 points, eight digs and one ace.
Fowler had 16 digs, 10 points, two aces and five kills.
